Acupuncteur : comment ça marche

L'acupuncture, pilier de la médecine traditionnelle chinoise, stimule des points précis du corps à l'aide d'aiguilles très fines pour rééquilibrer la circulation de l'énergie. En France, sa pratique est légalement réservée aux professionnels de santé (médecins, sages-femmes, dentistes formés) ; des praticiens en médecine chinoise proposent par ailleurs des approches sans aiguilles ou hors cadre médical. Renseignez-vous sur le statut de votre praticien avant de réserver.

Comment se déroule une séance

Après un entretien sur votre motif et votre terrain, le praticien pose des aiguilles stériles à usage unique sur des points choisis, laissées en place 20 à 30 minutes. La sensation est légère — picotement bref à l'insertion. Une séance complète dure 45 minutes à 1 heure.

Tarifs et remboursement

Chez un médecin acupuncteur conventionné, la consultation est partiellement remboursée par l'Assurance maladie. Hors cadre médical, comptez 50 à 80 € la séance, non remboursée mais parfois couverte par les mutuelles médecines douces.

Bien choisir son acupuncteur

Vérifiez d'abord le statut : médecin ou sage-femme formé (DIU d'acupuncture), ou praticien en médecine traditionnelle chinoise. Exigez des aiguilles stériles à usage unique et un questionnaire de santé sérieux avant toute pose.
