Hypnothérapeute : comment ça marche
L'hypnothérapeute utilise un état de conscience modifié — proche de la rêverie — pour travailler sur les automatismes : tabac, poids, phobies, confiance, stress. Contrairement aux idées reçues, vous restez conscient et acteur de la séance du début à la fin. Un accompagnement dure souvent entre 1 et 5 séances selon l'objectif. L'hypnose de bien-être ne pose aucun diagnostic et ne se substitue pas à un traitement médical.
Comment se déroule une séance
Une séance dure 1 heure à 1 h 30. Après un échange sur votre objectif, le praticien vous guide vers un état de conscience modifié — vous restez conscient et vous vous souvenez de tout — puis travaille par suggestions et métaphores adaptées à votre demande. Le retour se fait en douceur, suivi d'un débrief.
Tarifs et remboursement
Comptez 60 à 100 € la séance selon la ville et l'expérience du praticien. L'arrêt du tabac se pratique parfois en 1 à 2 séances plus longues, facturées 150 à 300 €. Certaines mutuelles remboursent partiellement l'hypnothérapie sur facture.
Bien choisir son hypnothérapeute
Regardez la formation (écoles d'hypnose ericksonienne reconnues, ou soignants formés à l'hypnose), l'expérience sur votre problématique précise, et le courant pratiqué. Un praticien sérieux annonce un nombre de séances limité (souvent 1 à 5) et ne promet jamais de résultat garanti.

Tout le monde est-il hypnotisable ?
La réceptivité varie, mais la grande majorité des personnes peut atteindre un état hypnotique léger à moyen, largement suffisant pour travailler. La motivation compte plus que la « suggestibilité ».
Vais-je perdre le contrôle pendant la séance ?
Non. L'hypnose de cabinet n'a rien du spectacle : vous restez conscient, vous entendez tout, et vous ne ferez jamais rien contre vos valeurs. Vous pouvez sortir de l'état hypnotique à tout moment.
Combien de séances pour arrêter de fumer ?
Le plus souvent 1 à 3 séances dédiées. Le résultat dépend fortement de votre décision personnelle : l'hypnose accompagne un choix déjà mûri, elle ne le remplace pas.
L'hypnothérapie est-elle remboursée ?
Pas par la Sécurité sociale, sauf hypnose médicale pratiquée par un soignant dans un cadre de soin. Plusieurs mutuelles la prennent partiellement en charge via leur forfait médecines douces.
